WW2 Photos: Nancy Jones (nee Charles)

My Nain [Welsh for Grandma] Nancy Charles (Jones when she married), was from the Caernarfon area of Wales and was in the Land Army during WW2. She didn’t like the hat so she steamed it to give it shape. She also wore better corduroys and she tailored her own jacket to give it more of a nipped waist! She worked on a farm on Anglesey. She told lots of stories about the farm. We think she did her training at Madryn on the Llyn Peninsular. Her birthday was 27th August 1918.
