To find out information on individual Land Girls, I would recommend the following:

1) Read the National Archives research guide on tracking down individual Land Girl record cards.

2) Read this article by Stuart Antrobus on how to begin researching the work of the WLA.

3) E-mail me, Cherish Watton, at info@womenslandarmy.co.uk to add your question to the site Messageboard.

4) Post a message to the Facebook page, which can be circulated to other Women’s Land Army networks.

If you need any other information, please get in touch by e-mailing me at info@womenslandarmy.co.uk.

Please note that I run the website in my free time alongside a full-time job, so there will be a delay in getting back to you.

Cherish Watton, Women’s Land Army Historian
