Worked for County War Agricultural Committee, from May 1947 to September 1949 in Winslow & Wing in Buckinghamshire. Carried out hostel gang field work. Then served on in the Wing area but probably on Mentmore Estate. Jessie was resident in two hostels at various times, so had opportiunities for a strong social life with other Land Girls

Accommodation

Lived at Winslow (Winslow Manor, requisitioned house) briefly, then Wing (hutment hostel). During this time, worked with Jean Biggs nee Hill.

Life after the war

Stayed in the Linslade, Leighton Buzzard area.
