Learning to be tractor drivers, 1939

Members of the Women’s Land Army learn how to drive tractors in this feature, published in a supplement to ‘The Farmer and Stock-Breeder’ on 12 September 1939.

The same issue also carried a recruitment poster, designed by Mr John A. Caseby in Lancashire. He was a contributor to ‘The Farmer and Stockbreeder’ and ‘Poultry World’.
