Funding Success For Site Development!

The Duveen Trust and Yorkshire Museum of Farming are supporting the next phase of development for the site.

It is with great pleasure that I can reveal that this site has been successful in its application to The Duveen Trust for funding to further develop.

The funding will be used to develop a facility which enables Land Girls and their family members / relatives to contribute information on individual Land Girls, which can be stored in a central database and map.

As no central record of Land Girls exist, I am hoping this will make the site a digital monument to a group of women whose service has largely gone unnoticed.

I would like to extend a massive thank you to The Duveen Trust (who have awarded the funding) and the Yorkshire Museum of Farming (who have supported my application). The support of these two charities will be vital to the next stage of development for this website.
