Elizabeth was the youngest daughter of George Steel (1865-1949) and Margaret Story Steel (Nee Bell (1860-1903).
She married Edward Hall (1899-) and the couple lived at: Isabella House, Red Lion Bank, Dalton Piercy, Hartlepool. They had ten children in total born between 1923 and 1946.
Tragically Elizabeth Jane Hall died on 28th September 1948 trying to save her youngest daughter who had run out into the road and into the path of a Shell-Mex Lorry on the Wolviston-Sunderland Road.
