WW1 Photos: ‘One of those terrible Land Girls’
An intriguing set of three photographs, each carrying a handwritten annotation which says ‘One of those terrible Land Girls’ next to individual women dressed in the uniform of the First World War Women’s Land Army. The first photograph is signed by a R.A.Wimberley in September 1918.
