WW1 Photos: female forestry workers
Two group photographs of female foresters, who, depending on when these photographs were taken, worked for the Women’s Forestry Corps (set up in 1916) or the timber-cutting section of the First World War Women’s Land Army, which in 1918, employed 400 women.
