Land Girls needed for new book (Walker Books)

We are an independent children’s publishing company, based in London, and are collaborating with the children’s newspaper First News on a book called What Did You Do in the War? The idea is to ask children (or adults) to interview people from World War Two about their experiences and then turn these unique interviews into a book. People such as Baroness Trumpington and Sir Nicholas Winton have already agreed to be interviewed.

We are looking for surviving women who were part of the Women’s Land Army who might be willing to be interviewed for the book.

If you would like to get involved, please e-mail intern.Novelty@walker.co.uk or call Kate Davies on +44 2073 962 470
