Podcast on the WLA released by The National Archives

Take a listen of the latest episode of ‘On the Record’, a podcast run by The National Archives, all about the history of the Women’s Land Army.

I was thrilled to kick off the episode in an interview with Vicky Iglikowski-Broad, Principal Records Specialist in Diverse Histories, on the broader history of the Women’s Land Army during the First and Second World Wars.

The National Archives have such a rich collection of archival material on the experiences of First and Second World War Land Girls which the team bring to life so vividly in this episode. Do take a listen if you’d like to be whisked away to the fields and farms of wartime Britain.
