Did they return back to their pre-war occupation? No.

What was their occupation after the war? Mother and housekeeper for a family

Did they stay on the land? No.

How did work in the WLA effect their life? Came from Lancashire, and married my father, a local Winchcombe man who was in the Royal Navy during WW ll, and never moved back to Lancashire.
