As some of you might know, I gave a talk at the National Memorial Arboretum on 24th September 2016. This talk provided an introduction to:
- The First World War Women’s Land Army
- The Second World War Women’s Land Army
- The Women’s Timber Corps
- Post-War Commemoration and Memorialisation of the Women’s Land Army and Women’s Timber Corps
Watch the talk for £4
I have uploaded the talk to YouTube as not everyone who wanted to, could attend. By uploading the talk, I hope to raise money for the National Memorial Arboretum and this website.
If you would like to watch the talk, please click the Buy Now button below. Once you have confirmed payment, you will be directed to the link of the talk.
£3 (75%) will go the National Memorial Arboretum and £1 (25%) will go towards this website, www.womenslandarmy.co.uk. This money will contribute towards the web hosting and general maintenance of this site. At the end of each month, I shall donate 75% of money raised to the National Memorial Arboretum. I will add full records to the website, showing the donation raised and given to the National Memorial Arboretum.
Comments from the day included the following:
I have heard really good things about it, and I know there have been several positive bits of feedback from visitors who thoroughly enjoyed it, including one lady who said it was the best talk she’d ever been to!
It was so engaging and informative and I know that our visitors thoroughly enjoyed it. I don’t think the Arboretum has ever had such a turn out for a Spotlight talk.
